Caption Contest - I've got a golden ticket Edition

Last week, Sen. McCain visited the Republic of Georgia.  Among the shower of gifts and awards that Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili showered upon the Arizona Senator was this little number.

I wonder what he was thinking:

"Hey Sarah, can you now let me shoot at your Meese up in Wasilla?"

Just proves the point that no matter which Georgia you visit, the one in the former Soviet Union, or the one in the Southern United States: Somebodies gonna get a gun ;)

Hmmm.  I wonder if the Senator had to jump through all the bureaucratic hoops to "import" this firearm like mere mortal citizens have to.

Nice piece, and with concealed carry, no one has to see that it is a pimp pistol.

More than likely, he isn't allowed to keep it as it could be construed as a conflict of interest. It'll likely end up as a show peice at the Arizona Capital building or some such.

That's an awfully pedestrian-looking holster for a gold-plated Browning... Arizona is 'open-carry'; too bad McCain won't be strutting around with it on his hip

Great.  Now he'll think he's The Man With The Golden Gun.

Looks like a Tokarev to me.

John, do you have the background story on the pistol?
I think it went somthing like: the pistol was taken from a downed American flyer in Vietnam and ended up in the USSR and was "repatriated" when given to Sen. McCain on his visit to Georgia.
If that is the true story then I can forgive the gold plating.
And as far as "open carry" goes, I'm sure he has a CCW like all us good Arizonans do.
Not that that will help him in DC.
Reciprocity Now!

"So are the butane refills for this lighter available at COSTCO?"
