BTW, I am getting transfered to Tulsa this spring. I'm not going far enough south!

John, I grew up in W. Kentucky with 4 seasons but mild winters. However, I did spend four years in Omaha from which I am still trying to thaw out. I managed to drive a panel truck from Omaha to North Platt during a blizzard with the temperature at -20 and going down to -50 with the wind chill. I know California is the land of fruit, nuts, and flakes, but I can drive to the snow in 90 minutes or the coast in two to three hours. I will content myself with looking at the pretty pictures you post while I walk around in my shirtsleeves enjoying the warmth.
