...there's a newby headed to Piddler's Green (across the street from Fiddler's Green). Dark Lord Sly's family lost a furperson.Her name was Sadie, and while she wasn't with us long (she was only 5), she was nonetheless a fighter. She was one of two littermates, the only one to survive having been poisoned after chewing on pieces of railroad tie that were lying around the desert where we were last stationed. And while she survived, she was forever changed physically. She never got bigger than a five month old pup and was plagued with a yeast infection in her skin...

As the daughter of a dog breeder, I completely understand how hard it is to lose a member of the family like this. I'm so sorry, Sly. She was beautiful. Pit? Or AmStaff?

Even after so many years, I still miss dearly my Rottie. She left a big empty hole that time hasn't filled. I know that it is the same for you DL Sly.

FM - Sadie isn't one of ours, she was a member of DL Sly's family. We honor the losses among all the Denizens, not just here at the Castle proper.

I lost my sweet 3 year old cat Simon Gabriel to a freak accident a couple months back. He was a friendly soul who overcame a lot of health problems as well. I'm sure he'll make a tremendous playmate for Sadie.
