        <![CDATA[Bloodspite - yes, <a href="http://www.history.navy.mil/photos/sh-usn/usnsh-c/dd372.htm" rel="nofollow"><em>Cassin's</em> machinery and armament were placed on a new hull</a> which was given her hull number and name.<br />

Works as destroyed for me.&nbsp; She re-entered the Navy List in 1944.]]>

        I thought the Cassin basically had her hull replaced, was refitted and kept her name?

Either way, I too want to go to th Arizona, and of course the Missouri.

        <![CDATA[Oh, and don't forget those poor guys trapped in that compartment in West Virginia, who marked a calendar until December 20-something.&nbsp; I recall reading what someone wrote about the feelings of a guy who had to stand sentry near there, hearing the feeble bangings on the bulkheads, and knowing there was absolutely nothing that he or anyone else could do about it. Yikes!&nbsp; May God rest their souls.<br />]]>

        <![CDATA[May we have the resolve and commitment to achieve a similar decisive victory over those who attacked us on September 11, 2001.<br />

It can be done.&nbsp; It will take longer.&nbsp; It will take a new Commander in Chief.&nbsp; It will need recognition that political correctness is a tool aiding the enemy, not our country, and that we must declare evil to be evil, not &quot;diversity&quot; to be ignored or admired.<br />
