            <title>Today&apos;s Medal of Honor Moment for 14 November</title>
            <description><![CDATA[There have been seven Medals earned on this day in history.&nbsp; Three of them on the exact same day.&nbsp; The first three are naval Medals, earned for lifesaving activities, as allowed by the law until the establishment of the Navy and Marine Corps Medal, which is the sea services highest award for peacetime heroism.&nbsp; There was only one Medal on this day during World War II, and it is actually for a period of service that ended on 14 November with the death of the Marine who earned it.&nbsp; The last three, all earned the same day (though with rather...]]></description>
