Project Valour-IT

Hey - chances are you got here like 95% or more of us did - reading your screen and using your keyboard and mouse - almost without thought.

Now, imagine if you woke up tomorrow and your hands didn't work.  Or you were blind.  Or both.

Thousands of military personnel have woken up with some form of that disability, usually after being knocked out by a large explosion.  Sometimes they wake up with *all* of that disability.

Project Valour-IT aims to help those military personnel.  By providing, free of charge, a laptop with voice-activated software - and we've done that over 2700 times since the founding of Project Valour-IT.  Surely, you say, the VA does that already?  No.  We've been working that, and making progress, too - but while you try to influence the VA to catch up to the 21st century, you *act* in the here and now.

Run under the auspices of Soldier's Angels - all money donated to Valour-IT, 100 cents of every dollar, goes to procure the hardware and software.  What little overhead costs there are get paid from different funds.  You donate to Valour-IT, your money buys hardware or software, and nothing else.

Comes now the hard part.  Not where I ask you for money - that's the easy part - we're done with that.  No, now is where I promise that if you donate to Team Army, you won't ever have *this* show up at your door.
Get lap dances from this chick if you donate to the Marine Team!

The Marine Team is promising this young lady will show up at your door and give you a lap dance if they win.  Seeing as how right now, Team Army is the only competition the Marines have... well, you know what to do.  Oh, sure, Team Air Farce is trying, but they're a gnat with delusions of being eagles.

So, do the right thing, and yourself a favor, and click the Army tab in the graphic below.

You'll be glad you did.

"The Marine Team is promising this young lady will show up at your door and give you a lap dance if they win."

Promising, or threatening?  LOL

Hey, at least I didn't tell 'em it was you in college....

But I did just say over at VC that it was you at a Milblog Conf pub crawl...

Yes.  Yes, you did.
