            <title>Today&apos;s Medal of Honor Moment for 24 October</title>
            <description><![CDATA[Today is an interesting day for the Medal.&nbsp; We have 5 Medals awarded, all to people who survived their fights.&nbsp; We re-acquaint ourselves with epitome of a Marine non-commissioned officer, Gunnery Sergeant Dan Daly - who on this day earned his second Medal of Honor - his first having been earned when he was a young Private during the Boxer Rebellion.&nbsp; He would have to settle for &quot;only&quot; a Navy Cross during WWI.&nbsp; And, we run into our first Medals from the Haiti Campaign of 1915.&nbsp; A month or so from now, we'll meet the other legendary Marine who earned&nbsp;a...]]></description>
