The case frustrated veterans across the country, and spawned spirited discussion in veterans communities online. A Sept. 23 entry on the American Legion’s Burn Pit blog, questioning why he has not been charged, generated more than 120 comments, and at least a dozen bloggers took up the issue afterward.

It's a topic on the VietVet fora, too. It seems the US Attorney for Colorado doesn't consider prosecuting violators of the Stolen Valor Act as a part of his job description. It's also a federal offense to impersonate a military officer with intent to deceive, and he also chooses not to prosecute under *that* statute.
Wonder what *other* federal laws he specifically chooses to *not* uphold?
