Going through the Auld Soldier's photo albums, here's a shot of we ROTC cadets in the early 70's...  some things don't change.  Give 'em better hair and new uniforms... and platoon tactics taught in a classroom is still platoon tactics taught in a classroom and will still put you in MEGO* status.

I wouldn;t know a good uniform if it caught on fire.  I only really notice Mr Boofhead on the right (D??s) has varies bitties missing that Mr Combover has present.  However this could be ROTC ranking.  Also the nametag is on their right which is unusual (at least in Aussie civil terms); maybe the image is reversed.

Oh and Ms Yawn's two fillings might not be regulation standard.  I sure as hell hope her top isn't.
