Your Tax Dollars At Work For Al Gore Department
A start-up automotive company backed by former Vice President Al Gore has been loaned more than half a billion dollars by the federal government.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Fisker Automotive Inc. has received $529 million in taxpayer money. The loan was intended to help Fikser produce a hybrid sports car to be sold in Finland.
Lemme see if I got this straight. The gummint just effectively took over two major US automobile manufacturers and threw millions of bucks at Cash for Clunkers in order to bail out US automobile manufacturers and make US automobile manufacturers competitive -- and part of tripling the national debt while doing that was tossing half a billion bucks to a *Finnish* automobile manufacturer which will be manufacturing cars in *Finland* for the Finnish* auto market.
Oh, waitaminnit -- the bottom is falling out of the European carbon credits market scam and AlGore needs an alternative source of income.
Can we each declare this loser as a dependent come next April 15th?
