PGR Mission -- for a Patriot in the truest sense

From a post on the VietVet forum I belong to:
...the following is the letter written to the PGR. Anyone that lives in the Fort Drum area is welcome to attend. Hopefully the weather will be fall like, as it is a 7 hour one way ride.

We don't need any snow....

Gary
My family is honoring a Great Grandfather and Revolutionary War Soldier, Ebenezer Wallace who served in the 6th Massachusetts Regiment of the Continental Army in 1781 under command of General George Washington. He was discharged from West Point in 1784 and eventually settled in Ellisburg, NY as one of the early pioneers of the area.

Ebenezer's grave has been unmarked for years but a family member has recently obtained a headstone from the VA and we will be having a rededication on October 3, in Henderson, NY (Jefferson County) at 3PM. We are working on having a colorguard, flagfolding ceremony and 21 gun salute.

The headstone dedication will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 3:00 PM [address and directions redacted]

Revolutionary War patriots were the men who served our country before it was a country, fought for our independence and lived and died for our freedoms. Your attendance at the ceremony would be welcome.

Thanks,

William

Address and directions to the gravesite redacted, but if you're in the Fort Drum / Syracuse area and can attend, leave a note in the comments.

Any PGR-types reading this may not recognize Gary's name, but I guarantee you'd know who I was talking about if I stuck a pic of his scoot and colors here. He's another Old Phart who refuses to strap himself into a rocking chair...
