    <summary><![CDATA[A curious fellow died one day and found himself waiting in the long Line of Judgment.As he stood there, he noticed that some souls were allowed to march right through the pearly gates into Heaven. Others though, were led over to Satan, who threw them into the Fiery Pit. But every so often, instead of hurling a doomed soul into the fire, Satan would toss it off to one side onto a small pile.After watching Satan do this several times, the fellow's curiosity got the best of him.         <![CDATA[I have seen it.&nbsp; The effect is like a full moon. There are those who resist the lure of the sun, such as Sly and other normal people, but every once in awhile, full sun is heralded as an 'event.'&nbsp; There are drumming circles, chants and Evergreen State College invites guest speakers to lecture on rare astronomical phenomena.&nbsp; Starbucks' posts losses on those days, and there are emergency room visits for temporary blindness.]]>

        <![CDATA[Actually, it's been pretty cool down here in SoCal, too (though not damp).&nbsp; It's July and we still haven't had to turn on the air conditioning.&nbsp; Usually by now in the inland valleys we're getting highs in the low 90s and lows in the 70s.&nbsp; Instead it's been low 80s to 50s.<br />]]>
