Being only 7 Nautical Miles from the White House, it was immediately put under severe restrictions, after the atrocities of September 11th.  All air traffic in and out of that airport has to be thoroughly vetted and cleared by the Baltimore FDSO.

I guess that after eight years of trying-out this program at College Park, without anyone objecting, it was now time to roll it out nationwide.

The big difference between our country and the rest of the free world is our incredible mobility - by car or by private plane in addition to the common bus, train and commercial airliner.

until you get to the point where you have to present your papers to show you have a right to walk down the street, your lights go out at the specified time, you only are ever offered what has been approved, at what price was approved, in whatever quantity could be coerced from the provider/producer.  You're told you're "Free" but you are, in the end, a slave, of "Reasonable Restrictions."

And by the time enough people notice that they might have been able to stop it, it's done, usually to the drooling applause of the majority, because the truth is, as the guy in Fight Club said,  "A Person is smart, PEOPLE are stupid."

I mean, it's even too late for my preferred method of resisting the tyrannical State, that is, sitting on my BarcaLounger with deadman switch under my butt connected to a coupla tons of Torpex in the basement, and telling them "Hi, guys, c'mon in and have a beer!" when they come for me. 
  Ordinary folks can no longer buy high explosives without attracting undue attention.

You use the phrase, "we're potential terrorists." But in that phrase, the operative word is "potential". The healthcare community have a different term for that logic, they simply call it, Paranoia.
