Respect For The Fallen

This is a friendly reminder, that The U.S. 3rd Infantry, is NOT composed of toy soldiers.  It is sad to see that from time to time some of us require a stern reminder of that.

I hate to admit it, but I'm having great trouble making out exactly what the LT is saying.  I get the feeling that someone stepped over the fence, but I can't tell (since by the time the camera zooms out, whatever it is that happened was done).  Someone fill me in exactly?

"We request that all visitors remain behind the safety rail" I believe. I'm surprised the kid didn't leave a brown trail all the way back across the line, too.

Correction, I think it was the fully grown guy in the white t-shirt with the blue shorts on the left. He went under the rail and reached out to grab something. Cup maybe.

Argghhh!  I can't see this video from work, and the curiosity is killin' me here!

No, don't tell me.  I get to go home soon, I'll watch it there.

Once again, Boq the master of obscure video tips us to a good one.

Doesn't matter if it was a kid or a man... I'm pretty damn sure he had a brown stain and a  red face after that!

Nolli Me Tangere!

Had a buddy from HS was in the Old Guard. Never a Tomb Guard. He spent time in one of the line companies, then joined the Army Drill Team ( I taught him everything he knew back in  JROTC). For the most part, he hated it. Lots and lots of chickensh*t.

Wound up going to school and getting his  commission.

Decided to issue chickensh*t, rather than only draw it.

I Missed it, have to try again, 3d Infantry ROCKS!
