State department HR issues regarding translators...

I wonder if the guy or gal who did that great job with translating Russian for the Secretary Clinton got canned... and went to work for someone else?

From an email I received today, edited a bit to protect the innocent:
 

(Insert foreign Gov't Agency here) is cowardly inviting you to a Criminal Justice Task Force annual press conference, whose participants are the Deputy for Counter Narcotics, Senior law enforcement officials from (insert another agency here) including, Head of Prosecution, and (that agency's) Communication Director.

This conference will be held [someplace on some date)  at 10:00am. For your more information please find the attached media advisory.


Makes ya wonder, y'know?

I think this is just a typo for 'cordially' not a translation issue but  makes one wonder if the writer was projecting...

Oh, cordially is the word they were looking for, as the subsequent correction made clear.

I just wanted to engage in a little gratuitous State-bashing.
