By now most of you know about milblogger CJ Grisham's travails with an Inspector General complaint.I've been chatting with CJ about this, and he assures me that he has powerful friends in his corner (and, based on the names, which is not my info to release, he does).Frequent commenter and gun blogger Rivrdog raises an interesting point - who is the complainant?Curious story. He's pretty much on the Right edge of things, flat-earth wise, but he seems to know that. He's currently involved with some IG investigation over his blogging activities. His snitch to the IG is apparently a USAF person, while he...

Typical of everything.... Ask anyone overseas who deals with all U.S. Services which service is the hardest to buy things from, the hardest to get things done with, and the hardest to solve problems with. Ask which service seems to be the most hidebound when it comes to doing even the simplest sorts of things, which service seems to overengineer every process, and which is most likely to leave you hanging 'till the last minute on really important stuff, like an approval to buy refundable airline tickets while they can still be had at reasonable prices....

I already know the answer. I hear the *^$%@#)@& complaints all the time!

Heh. There seems to be a culture of that sort with regards to *all* activities in the vicinity of USAF Field Grades.

Got some dandy stories which will have to wait until the statute of limitations expires...
