Fishmugger - this thing was designed for guys like you. All the fiddly work is done, you just need to understand how it works and where to find your entry arguments. And by "how it works" I mean moving the dials and rules, not the underlying math.

No algegra, trig, or calculus required. The eggheads did that already, and that's embodied in the inter-relationships of the various rules and graphs and dial.

I don't know what it is but it would be nice if it was an Obomber meter for dropping a load on congress. Or a seismic intensifier to break the left coast off and send it out to sea. Anyway, I wasn't there the day we covered that in algebra. I was playing drop the pencil.

10.5cm=105mm. I can't recall if Herman used 105s in WWII, so that might make it post-war, Bundeswehr issue.
