AFghan forces raided a compound and secured a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and other military equipment during the search, including:

45 AK-47s, Um, Check. Well, not AKs, and only 1 AK-clone, but plenty of shootables.
Two machine guns, Check - except these guys are pikers - well, except theirs *work.*
Two rocket-propelled grenade launchers. Check - but add some bazookas, too.
Four rocket-propelled grenade rounds. Check, if you count inert trainers.
10,000 rounds of AK-47 ammunition. Okay, I'm a little short here. Only 4k of all calibers combined.
Two grenades. Check. Actually, a lot more, but again, all inert.
One mortar sight. Check. Again, these guys are low, and I have the mortars, too.
One set of commercial-grade night vision goggles Check. Two, actually.
12 sets of body-armor. Nope. Got a buncha historical brain-buckets though.
The search also yielded 150 pounds of opium. Nope. Just prescription meds here.

Heh. People keep telling me that they're coming to hang out if the world implodes. Like I said, intent matters.

The search also yielded 150 pounds of opium.

The ANA protected 29 men, 35 women and 41 children during the operation.

After securing the compound, the Commandos held a key leader engagement with local elders. The leaders expressed their appreciation for the good work the Afghan forces are doing.

No Commando, Coalition Force or civilian casualties were reported.

"The Commandos recovery of those weapons, ammunition and other military equipment before it was used to target innocent Afghan civilians are a testament to the efforts these elite Afghan soldiers are taking to secure and stabilize that region," said Major Gen.
