Then she only had to convince a simple majority of the Democratic Caucus to get foisted upon us as Speaker.  While the whole house votes on the position of Speaker, let's face it - if your caucus is bigger than the other guys, you've only got to convince your guys, who cares about those hosers across the aisle.
