When it absolutely, positively has to be peered at overnight...

Since John seems to enjoy tweaking the horsey set Cav these days, I figger I might as well get into the act.

'Specially since I was one of the founders of the (unsuccessful) '80s movement to have the 5/117th Cavalry (Air), NJARNG, named as the State Animal...

Yeeeeaaaaah, it's all about the hat...

For some reason, Bill's graphic reminded me of Molly Hatchet.  LOL

That lead Hun looks a lot like you, SugarButtons.  It must be the moustache.  Cousin 'a yourn?

fdcol63 -- Good eye! Frank Frazetta painted both of 'em.

BCR -- Nah, it's the mustache and the blue eyes.

I like Frank Frazetta...I think he was inspired by Rackham though.  Just my opinion as I don't get into too much 'art.'  Heh.  I like Odin's Goggies though.

heh...  and to think that during that same time frame i was running a petition in my school to get "Born to Run" declared as the Joisey state anthem...

Vikings have nice hats too, you know.  They're kinda like huns.

Funny -- I don't remember you having that pronounced of an accent...

I like the title of this post...sounds familiar...

looks like the black guy is thinking "Wish he would leave that !@@#$ mace at home".

Technically it's a Morningstar - a mace is a weighted club.  When you add in the chain of no control it becomes a Morningstar (as well as a hazard to a much larger area).

...(as well as a hazard to a much larger area).

Gee, sounds a lot like *me* when the server's up.

Bear cavalry ALWAYS cuts it.

So long as you remember to bring the PPSh.

Well.  Maybe the PPSh always cuts it.  Whatever.

Wasn't a morningstar REALLY just some farm implement for threshing grain that poor farmers would take to the local blacksmith for the addition of a few spikes, when called up for infantry duty?

The agricultural instrument to which you refer, Josh, is the flail.
