It has indeed been a tough year for Sly.  Tonight is supposed to be the biggest full moon of 2009.  I choose to think that there's a reason it is happening on this particular day.
An otherwordly send off perhaps?  Hoping she has clear skies to see it tonight.

The moment of silence was kept; the glass was raised.

Thinking of you, dear Sly.

The glass was raised here too. You have my prayers, my friend.

Sly,

My deepest condolensces.  The good folks who post and comment here might never meet, except through the ether, but it's all one extended family. Your loss is our loss. I'll light a candle today in her name.

   Respects,

I'm afraid mine was only a glass of water, but it was raised all the same.

Clear skies, Sly.  They are both together and raised a great kid.  I believe in reunions, so I raised a glass to them and to being together again.

Very possible that my Aunt & Uncle, Muriel and (SFC, ret) LeRoy Dunn, also of Warrenton, OR, knew them.... LeRoy is a wheel in the local VFW there.

I'll have to ask. Warrenton isn't a very large place.
