        <![CDATA[&nbsp;Watched a Cougar assume the &quot;dead ant&quot; position once; not humorous at the time, and I sought to avoid such in the future. Turrets are badly configured for crew comfort when rolled 180deg from the 'normal'.<br />
This also shows why a 'drop now' switch on the Crew Commander's seat is considered useful.<br />

        <![CDATA[i've seen this pic a few times and can't help but think that somehow this did not end up as a laughing matter for at least the TC if not the loader if they were both riding unbuttoned.<br />
Considering that they appear to be more concerned with collecting something (Fuel from forward tank?) in barrels with rags than hooking up an 88 or three to flip it back shiney side up, I'm seriously hoping the crew got out ok.<br />
I've seen a few scenario like this (but not as bad) out in the desert but luckiy those only ended up with the vehicle on it's side and the worst was a busted up collar bone from the tossed-out commander of an M-113 still trying to go 30mph on its side down in a forgotten dugout in the middle of scrub brush in&nbsp;the hinterlands of Ft. Drum..<br />]]>
