Struth! I think we need to revisit the terms we use when refering to things that buzz and sputter. To control an aircraft, be it fixed or rotary wing, from within the cocpit is to pilot said aircraft. To control it from the ground is to play with it, as someone with a kite or balloon plays with it. Now as somebody who has ridden in the back of a CH46 I can tell you that some things are not piloted as much as wrestled.
