I remember putting a candle in my window, to light Matt's way home.
I remember when the light post was erected at Veteran's Park, to provide Matt with a brighter light to follow home.
I remember the first time I met Mr. Maupin, at the convenient store near home.
I remember seeing the entire Maupin family at Chuck E Cheese, celebrating a 4th birthday.  Everyone had on t-shirts that talked about Matt or the Clermont Yellow Ribbon project.
I remember when we was found earlier this year, and the tears that flowed both that day, and during the funeral ceremony.
And I remember the joy I felt last week, knowing that one of the men who killed Matt was terminated by US forces.

Yes.
I remember.  I can't forget.  Nor can I imagine waiting 10 times longer than we did to find out what happened to Matt.
