Something to keep you busy.

ENPR (Evans-Novak) posits:
The bright point for Republicans: a Senate minority of at least 41 seats that can jam the Democratic works and prevent the sort of inevitable-march-to-progress that marked the Great Society and the New Deal.

The central question going forward: Will President-elect Obama's conciliatory, open-minded rhetoric carry the day in a Democrat-dominated government, or will the killer instinct of long-frustrated congressional Democrats take over?

A wise man once said "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity."  It follows that malice and stupidity is twice as bad as either one alone.

Another said "The most dangerous thing in the world is a missionary with power."

Democrats are now all three: stupid, malicious missionaries with power.  There is no way that this socialist bastard will be able to hold them back.  Even if he wants to, which I don't believe for a second.

And there's no way in hell that he wants to.

Congressional Democrats are ordering steak sauce by the case. They're gonna have roated Repbublicans with a side of fried Constitution. If you'll excuse me I'm off to the range.

Any benevolence on either Obama's or the Dem leadership's part is based on the assumption that they will indeed pursue the bests interests of the United States.

For me, this assumption is in doubt.

Oh, they'll dress it up in purty words, the scumbags always do. But it's going to be all scorched earth in the package wrapped up in rainbow bright ribbons.

And the useful idiots that keep them in power will line up for the honor of getting on their knees and being punked to a bloody ruin.

Has anyone seen Murry?  I wonder how NZ is these days ..... for immigration.

I'm thinking Murray will tell you that NZ is a socialist hell, but now he's shelved his plans to emigrate *here*...

Geez, guys, it could be worse. Wait 'til Iran joins the Nuke Club and Obie calls his 300 crack foreign policy advisors in to advise him on his options -- and they give him two choices:

1. sh*t

2. go blind

*Then* it'll be worse.

So ...... NZ's out.   Bummer.   LOL
