And here's the pitch --

Part I of the deal. Stop by Lawn Darts during the next few days (and continuously thereafter, but we'll go into that later) and look for the two polling icons -- Buzzcomix and topwebcomics -- on the left side, just below the Crash Hawk doinked UH-60 on the banner. Click, vote, back out, click, vote and then pop back out. You have just helped bump their numbers.

Now for the *fun* part. Amy wrote (in part):

I submitted Lawn Darts to Webcomic Idol, which is a contest run by Bomb Shelter Comics. They pick ten comics (I presume the best out of what is submitted), and then have people vote for the one they want to go away. Whoever is left at the end gets invited to join Bomb Shelter and a bunch of other random things. Through it all, we get more traffic, and that is the most important thing.

Part II: You get to vote *other* 'toons off the Island. Here's the important thing to remember (pay attention, Jtg) -- vote for any 'toon *except* Lawn Darts. Got that? Go to the Webcomic Idol 2008 post, click the link to the voting site, and vote for the one you want to disappear.

The Lawn Darts crewmembers are good folks. Say "Hi" when you pop in -- *after* you vote, Jtg -- and don't mind Pandra, even if she is WereKitty-on-rollerskates...

More subversive world domination info: Voting on the TWC and Buzz lists is most useful during the first of the new month (Nov 1)-- they reset the numbers at midnight on the last day of the month, and that's when it's easiest to jump closer to the top.

My advertising slots are also tied in with my other comic, Crowfeathers, which has a much bigger readership than Lawn Darts, and thus is a much faster means for me to get something into the top ten of those lists.. should anyone like to vote for that too. :D  Of course getting both comics into the top ten would be fabulous!
