So, why blog?

So, the Iraqi Air Force graduates it's first class of new pilots.

But few got this part. Cassandra over at Villainous Company did, as did Neptunus Lex. how is this not important? Heck, it's the *core* of the story:
One of the kids nudged me when a DV started getting passionate in his address, and was interrupted by a standing ovation:
“He is saying that for the first time in our history, we are not doing things for one man, but we are doing it for all the people of Iraq. He is saying the US has showed us how, and we must not forget when we thank God every day, we must also ask him to bless the US.
Yeah, it's pure dumb luck in a sense that Bill was there. But you also won't find it if you don't look for it.

Well, you heard it here first, campers. And that's reason #4,567,324 why we blog.

It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us—that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion—that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain—that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom.

With an altogether Arab flair, mind you, and for the Iraqis. Remember, Lincoln's words were little noted at the time... and when they were, it was mostly in terms of partisan praise or criticism...

This is how Bill covered it here at the Castle, as many of you read yesterday.

But few got this part. Cassandra over at Villainous Company did, as did Neptunus Lex. how is this not important?
