We interrupt the non-coverage of Senator Edward's love child...

... (because that would just be so... tabloid!) and saturation coverage of Bristol Palin's impending delivery and nuptials for this brief bulletin from Georgia:

The ACTS Georiga team and all Georgian are bravely standing united behind their president Misha Sakkashvili.

The Russian troops remain illegally in many parts of Georgia violating the cease fire agreement. The Russian foreign minsiter continues to state that if Georgia wants a peaceful future then Georgians need to change their president that was the purpose of the invasion.

Even during the most tense times, the Georgians did not panic. They have always continued to support their president The EU is meeting this week. Hopefully, EU will take a strong supportive stance for Georgia.

Today Gazpom the large Russian goernment owned gas company which provides gas to western Europe will cut for one day the supply to Poland and Germany stating the need for repairs. Lets hope this intimidation of Poland and Germany does no t prevent them from taking a strong stand agains Russia.

But, all the available assets are trying to score interviews with the someone who knows the cousin of the guy who knows a guy who's seen Bristol's baby's father play hockey, he thinks.  Because, well, *that's* important, right?  And a prudent use of reportorial expertise.
