Army
The War on Big Tobacco - A Castle favorite, and currently just barely out of 5th place in a very competitive category; I'm going to have a hard time voting for just one when the time comes.
Air Force
There are currently only five nominees. Know any more who should be nominated?
Navy
The Destroyermen, CDR Salamander, Steeljaw Scribe and Information Dissemination are all worthies and within range of the top five. Neptunus Lex could use a boost, too. This is another great category with a lot of superb blogs.
Marine Corps
From the Halls to the Shores and our own Sergeant B's The Gun Line are on the edge of the top five.
Parent
There are currently only five nominees. Know any more who should be nominated?
Veteran
This is another tight field, but Michael Yon and our own Thunder Run are currently within range and deserve a boost.
Spouse
I've got too many friends and friends-of-friends to point out just one, so I'll go the maximum-impact direction and point out that IMHO the group blog SpouseBUZZ should be leading the way.
Supporter
This is another category where I feel pulled in every direction. I'm very happy to see USO Girls making a good showing, but Soldiers' Angels Germany and Gazing at the Flag (which is barely hanging on to 5th, and whom I always felt was mored deserving of a win than I last year) certainly have earned a nomination, too.

Thanks so much for the vote. Unfortunately as of 1615 hours (4:15 pm EST) The Thunder Run has 9 nominations and Michael Yon only 12. Blackfive is way out front with 26 and in 2nd is A Battlefield Tourist with 20. So in order for either Michael or I to make the cut we need at least 10 more nominations each before nominations close, in order to be included for voting.
If anyone has still not cast their votes for nominations, now is the time as nominations close at 2359 hours (11:59 pm EST) tonight.
Your other choices are right on, as expected.
As an aside: I'm humbled to have received the nominations I have, I always wonder if I'm making a difference or even making an impact anywhere, I guess somewhere I am.
I didn't make the cut...but Michael Yon did. It's time to stand up and be counted...Vote for Mike!
