Credit where credit is due.  Senator Obama on the subject of Bristol Palin's life and travails:
I’ve heard some of the news on this, and so let me be as clear as possible. I have said before and I will repeat again: I think people’s families are off limits. And people’s children are especially off limits. This shouldn’t be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Governor Palin’s performance as a governor or her potential performance as a vice president. And so I would strongly urge people to back off of these kinds of stories.
 
Now let's see if he's the leader his followers say he is - and if at least his surrogates and baggage train will back off.  I don't expect the media to take any orders - but let's see if his legion of minions will.  -the Armorer

*A term of art from the artillery. Harassment and Interdiction Fires. Back in the day, when you could just kill people and break things without a note from a lawyer, they were pre-planned, but to the enemy, random, fires at known gathering points, road junctions, Main Supply Routes, assembly areas, etc - to keep the bad guy nervous that the world around him might start exploding at any minute. Not really relevant to today's operating environment, right? But, it *is. The UAVs we fly over Afghanistan and Pakistan looking for targets of opportunity are a form of H&I fires, if you really want to parse it finely. We just have better sensors and fire control now. Of course, now I have to call them UAS's, because someone got a Legion of Merit for the name change.Anyway, I call the post H&I Fires because it's random things posted by me and people I've given posting privileges to that particular topic. Another term of art that might be appropriate is Free Fire Zone.

My (black) husband had a laughing fit over the Pdiddy thing. He said that OsamaBiden (sounds a little like Obamabinladen, eh?) needs to lock all his black "supporters" in a room somewhere, until after the election - because they are (stupidly) scaring off the WHITE voters whom they MUST get in order to win.   And on the other video - THIS is the problem - people LIKE the man and therefore think that equates to being able to lead. Never mind that George SOROS would actually be in charge if BO wins!!

BUWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA... that Chris Matthews clip was AWESOME.

Too bad it's the truth that half of America is BLIND to.  Sarah Palin has done more in her 2 years as governor than Obama has done in his 2 years in the Senate.  Hands.Down.Winner.

I generally refer to Obama as "Pinky", after the Pinky and the Brain episode "The Pink Candidate", but it seems that "Tomlinson" would also be a fine nickname for him:

That MSNBC clip is so yesterday, man!  That was long ago, during the primaries, when CM was supporting Hitlery.

Now, both CM and KO have something running down their legs over Obama, especially at the Dem convention in Denver.  You know it's bad when someone like Bill Maher claims that the people at MSNBC (CM and KO, though that remained unsaid) are "gushing" over Obama so much that they "looked like they wanted to have sex with him".

Think somebody should clue Puffy PDiddy in that Billy Preston did that "Will It Go Round In Circles?" schtick already -- and didn't embarrass the living sh*t out of himself  say anything really ditzy after he did it?
