They're finally here!
This is the nomination phase, and it's very brief. All nominations must be submitted online through Milblogging.com by 11:59 pm EST on Wednesday, September 10th, 2008.
You have to be registered at milblogging.com, but it's relatively painless and for a good cause. NOTE: registrations are apparently being activated by hand, so get yours in ASAP so that you can nominate/vote.

Heh. I read this post and it unleashed the inner Democrat hiding in me. Equality of outcome! Not equality of opportunity! I wanna turn this into a elementary school-age soccer league, where *everybody* gets trophies!
Snerk. Until Greyhawk retires, the military veteran category is pwned by Blackfive. The rest of us just watch him through our binos as he speeds out ahead of us. Might as well engrave the trophy now.
New category! Military Retiree! That means I only compete with old farts my own age... We might have a chance in that category... If that doesn't work, Military Retiree (Army). If that doesn't work, Military Retiree (Army) (Field Artillery). If that doesn't work...
I mean, while the person who started this post didn't sign their work... you'll note they didn't mention *this* place.... prolly why they didn't sign it.
