Mary McHugh, YOU are one of those "VERY SPECIAL INDIVIDUALS!" Yes, you were the fiancee of Jimmy Regan, no matter what the outcome, you were making a sacrifice. In this case, in a sense you made the "ultimate sacrifice."  The picture of you in the cemetery is not an intrusion, but an honor. You represent all of the families and friends who have lost loved ones in war. Sadly, this a part of war.
