                <![CDATA[John, it's the echo-chamber. I've seen it in some righties as well, but in either case one associates with people who completely agree with you, gain mutual reinforcement from said agreement, and no one is ever challenged on any point.<br />

Weisberg doesn't do any better because no one he listens to has ever told him what drivel it is. I imagine a writer (in general) would present themselves as poorly if they never encountered a good editor.<br />]]>
