Because, apparently, after years of talking about the horrific war in Iraq, watching suicide bombers kill thousands, beheading videos courtesy of Zarqawi, AQI and company, the untold destruction, death, pain and sorrow... claiming that AQI was not in Iraq until we went to Iraq...
...now the Dems are claiming the bad guys "aren't in Iraq".

I mean, if the terrible terror in Iraq wasn't a "real threat" and there weren't any "bad guys" there, what exactly was that? A little league T- Ball game? You really got to ask yourself, if these guys don't know what "bad guys" and "real threats" look like, do you really want them running the country?

Seriously? Iraq wasn't a "real threat"? Bayh should have added "anymore" and then he'd be getting closer to the truth. The "bad guys" are mustering up in the Paki-Afghan region because the United States military kicked their "real threats" to the curb in Iraq. They had to fall back to their original position.

Well, since a whole bunch of 'em *weren't* Iraqis, we'd have to say rather that it was the courageous Saudi and Syrian and Jordanian and Uzbek and Yemeni and et cetera freedom fighters who decided that the idea of freedom in *their* lands was a non-starter, but figured Iraq would be a good place to hone their self-destruct skills...

It wasn't a threat to Biden. It was an opportunity provided by a loyal and dependable political ally in order for people like Biden to achieve greater political longevitiy. It was not a "real threat". Rather, it was a threat manufactured to benefit people, and in these terms, it was a threat manufactured to mutually benefit AQ and their political supporters here in the States. Link
