Are ya ready for some foosball?!?!?!

How 'bout a little look at recreation around the services recently?

.S. Army Sgt. Mark Speakman plays a game with Iraqis during a patrol in Baghdad, Iraq, July, 20, 2008. Speakman is assigned to 2nd Platoon, Bravo Troop, 1st Squadron, 75th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division. DoD photo by Spc. Charles W. Gill, U.S. Army. (Released)

Or, if foosball isn't your style, how 'bout some boating?

U.S. Navy Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC) assigned to Special Boat Teams 12 and 20 rig their rigid-hull inflatable boat to a CH-47 Chinook helicopter assigned to the 159th Aviation Regiment during a maritime external air transportation system (MEATS) training exercise in the Virginia Capes near Fort Eustis, Va., July 16, 2008. MEATS trains members of SWCC on extending their operational reach by attaching special operations crafts to helicopters for transport to remote locations for further training. If boating's not your thing - how about some good summertime PT before settling into academics?

So, did the nice person pitching the Air Force Academy tell ya you'd be dressed like a soljer and doing combatives there, Doolie?

Lastly, after a good afternoon spent sending boattails downrange, ya gotta make the time to do a little cleaning up, because your rifle is your best friend in a firefight, and you always treat your best friend well, like Corporal Verhulst is doing in the picture below.
