A guest post in response to Kevin's post on Dr. Ron Paul.

This continues a discussion from a previous post. If you need to catch up - click here. Kevin, I have decided to answer you point by point where appropriate. I am actually very sympathetic to your cause. I tilted at windmills myself supporting Howard Phillips and the Constitution Party every time out since they started as the Taxpayer’s Party. H*ll I was even chairman of my county’s Republican Party for a very short period. After the back stabbing by the faction I defeated and the actions of my homie Bob Dole announcing the National Republican Party’s platform was “their platform...

Using your reasoning, then Ralph Nader gave us Prez Bush...

I'll also point out that Dr. Paul would be running as a Republican, NOT as an independent, so your analogy is inaccurate.

And, after studying the other offerings, both Democratic and Republican....

The real difference between them is?

None, won't matter if they have a D or an R next to their name on the ballot.

They all promise the same things; more Constitution busting, more oath breaking, more taxes, more war, more government, more laws, regulations, restrictions etc. etc. etc.

Thank you, but mine will be an emphatic 'no' for any of the other candidates.

I would prefer to actually cast a vote FOR a candidate, rather than hold my nose and waste my vote by pulling the lever for the lesser of two evils.

Been there, done that. No more.

I consider Ron Paul to be today's Ross Perot.

And we got 8 years of Bubba because of Ross.

Not again, please.
