It's Sunday, time for a Whatziss!

Hosting provided by FotoTime

So, let your imaginations run free, and those of you who takes these things seriously... get to work.

Part 1 - what is it?

Part 2 - which era?

Part 3 - of those things that comprise the universe of what it is, which type system might it work with?

Part 4 - Which specific system is it a component of?

Ready on the right? Ready on the left? You may commence guessing! Or googling, as fits your idiom.

Isn't calling us Idioms against the Rulz?

Nope. You're thinking of ideate.

Speaking of ideating, it looks an awful lot like the blade of a Chinese glaive, but it's missing the upper tang. Which probably means it's a Swiss Army Painter's Edge Guide, with can-opening capability. Come to think of it, the glaive made a pretty good can opener, too -- as long as the plate wasn't too thick...

Pin knocker, or whatever it's actually called. Some Armour prior to the 50's used a track pin without any kind of retention, ie nut. They were installed with the pinhead on the inside. They would, of course, work out over time. As the track moved, any pins that had worked themselves out too far would contact this device and get shoved back into position. Of course I also have no idea what this is. Time to loosen up the free assocition again.

oohhhhhh someone is in BIG trouble for breaking Excalabur. BIG trouble.

High speed-low drag tinfoil hat?

I don't care what it really is, OFS wins this one!! Best thing I've heard in quite a while!

Its a...,you know...one of them.

Having grew up on a farm, it looked alot to me like some sort of really odd plowshare, or a really high speed wire cutter we use on HMMWVs in Iraq.
