THREE TRANSITION TEAM SOLDIERS KILLED IN AFGHANISTAN Three transition team Soldiers died of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle June 17 in Panjway, Afghanistan. Killed were: Captain Joshua E. Steele, 26. Sergeant 1st Class Christopher D. Henderson, 35. Sergeant 1st Class John M. Hennen, 26. Steele was an active duty engineer serving on a transition team assigned to 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division. His home of record is North Henderson, Ill. He entered the Army in December 2002.                 FYI on why 1/1ID MTT teams seem to take so many hits-ALL MTT teams (yes, I know that&apos;s redundant) belong to 1/1ID, at least administratively.  The troops do an 18 or 19 month TCS to Riley (unaccompanied), then move on to their next duty station when they come back from OIF/OEF.
