            <title>Kansas Casualty.</title>
            <description> TRANSITION TEAM OFFICER KILLED IN AFGHANISTAN Captain Darrell C. Lewis, 31, died of wounds sustained when his unit was attacked by insurgents using rocket propelled grenades, mortars and small arms fire June 23 in Vashir City, Afghanistan. Lewis was a mobilized Army Reserve air defense artillery officer serving on a transition team assigned to 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division. His home of record is Washington D.C. He entered the Army Reserve in June 2002 and deployed with the 1st Infantry Division transition team in January 2007. This was his first deployment in support of the Global War on Terrorism....</description>
