            <description>When this hit my inbox yesterday, my heart skipped a beat. DoD Identifies Army Casualty The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. 1st Lt. Andrew J. Bacevich, 27, of Walpole, Mass., died May 13 in Balad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his unit during combat patrol operations in Salah Ad Din Province, Iraq.He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.                 I hope you&apos;re right, John.  Seriously.  I don&apos;t dislike Sheehan for being a ditz.  I hate her for what she&apos;s done in her son&apos;s name.  Should anything happen to my family due to war, I would hope I&apos;d be more like the Maupin&apos;s, or Mr. Stokely, and truly honor my loved one&apos;s service.

                I mourn his loss, and hope that he doesn&apos;t become another Cindy Sheehan.  Please, please let him see that his son died with honor and dignity, and that further protesting the war like Sheehan has done does nothing but DIShonor his son.
