I dunno - it could all be a plot - it&apos;s the *french* who are reporting it. They just want to keep it all for themselves! Two days ago was the anniversary of VE-Day, 8 May, 1945. Today is the anniversary of the end of the Phony War, 10 May, 1940. A lot happened...</description>

I believe that if you mix some sugar with some saltpeter, and light it, it flares up nicely. Vitamin C tablets and aspirin can also be amusing.

Maybe it&apos;s time for another pyromaniac thread in the comments?

I really do believe that my picric acid recipe is trustworthy. I mean, it&apos;s in the official US Army improvised weapons FM!

There&apos;s always the Martha White Weapon, of course.

Whoops - strike the last line. Looks good in all posts view, but not in single post view. Sorry.

I think John has slayed the dragon for this particular problem, which I was also seeing. It was not browser dependent - I could see it in IE6/IE7/Netscape and Firefox. But it only occurred with a screen resolution higher than 1024 wide. I run at 1280 x 1024, so I saw it right away, but anyone running at 1024 (or less) would not see it at all.

Good going, John - it looks good now whether viewing a single post or the standard all posts view :-)

I usually use firefox and do not have this column alignment issue. I often have posting issues on this site though. Usually long delays before refresh and withheld comments.

The 911 conspiracy theorys are quite rife and I don&apos;t think those numbers are that far from reality. I don&apos;t think creative editing of a poll removes the problem.

web tester mode again: In Firefox the center column is sneeking under the right column. Isn&apos;t this fun? I get paid to do this! I especially like making the devs cry.

Okay - that was weird. 5 minutes ago, I couldn&apos;t leave a comment on any post. Now it&apos;s working. Go figure.

Love the candy machine - those folks can make some Serious confections with that thing!
