First up - this is why people can put up with some of the stupid stuff that comes with being in the military. The job is anything but ordinary (though I admit, why people *enlist* and make a career out of Finance and Personnel Administration is beyond me). U.S. Marines drive an Amphibious Assault Vehicle as it tows another vehicle from Camp Schwab, Okinawa, to amphibious transport dock ship USS Juneau (LPD 10) under way in the Pacific Ocean on May 21, 2007. The Juneau is assigned to Task Force 76 which operates from Sasebo, Japan. DoD photo by Petty...

Bright shiny things for Denizens to ogle!

JMH, Bush is to blame for my getting a smoker instead of a Weber. He is also responsible for the slug population in Washington state, Hillary Clinton needing rabies shots and Algore in general.

Well, the President was caught driving without his seatbelt fastened. There must be some connection between that and the unmitigated failure of his Iraq 'adventure', and his refusal to admit to using concaine before his debates with VPresident Gore, who really won the 2000 election, and whose magnanimous efforts to save the world from catastrophic climate change are being gravely hindered by the President's refusal to understand the realities of GCW demonstrated by his refusal to wear a seatbelt.

Cheers

Sorry, John, you can't ding me for that. That's Mike Lehnherr's job.

My personal cross to bear. I continually screw up its and it's and don't even do it consistently.

Izzat all you got today?

HL - yes, it is. I'm contemplating getting a semi. The "frenchie" is a MAS 49/56. I've a 49, as well, though it's the Syrian version with the integral bayonet.

Yes, my Finn KVT-40 is there (it has the bayonet) the SVT has the scope.

There's a Romanian AK in there, too.

The SMLE is and isn't what you thinnk - you can be forgiven for your ID, as it's a hybrid and you can't see the receiver. It's actually a MkV in MkIII wood. I got that from frequent commenter John S, some years ago.

But how did you miss noting the Winchester M1?

OK...I spy...a couple of SVT-40s (would one be your shorty one?) a VZ-58, a SMLE, and something French.

Is the VZ-58 a dummy/inop?
