A new American Legion Post, in Japan. SFC Paul Smith Post 2222. H/t, Hunter D. This news just tickled CAPT H to no end. Bob Owens takes on Montel Williams. Pistards = Ground Crew explanation

Piste = runway in Francais

Pistards pronounced : peece tars btw.

Idiomatically translated: "Runway bunnies" like "gun bunnies"

                On the Hugh Hewitt thing: He reminds me of the folks at DU, DailyKos, etc., in putting party before country.

I say this as an old-fashioned pre-Bryan Grover Cleveland type of Democrat, who's a registered Libertarian, though that doesn't fit me very well.

Don't forget that the Republicans were the original systematizing nationalizing Big Government party, and that The Nation was originally a Pwogwessive (Republican) journal.

The Republicans used their opposition to Negro slavery to cover their many crimes. I do not concur with the Roscoe Conkling interpretation of the 14th Amendment. A corporation is not a person, it is a creature of the State, and has no rights anyone is bound to respect.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again:

I'm a *real* Democrat, therefore I'm in favor of

Small government

Small farms

Small business, and

Small arms

                No worries :)

Actually I'm thanking you!
It gave me a chance to redeem myself from being a cold hearted insignificant navel gazer who fails to link his friends major posts; to a reticent navel gazer who almost failed to link a friends post. :P
