    <summary>...as I did in this post last week about armoring HMMWVs. That triggered some memories for frequent commenter Oldloadr. I thought I would e-mail you these pics from late 03 and first half of 04 that we used to convoy all over Iraq in. The unit who owned and modified these 1st generation HMMWVs was a Combat Engineer Platoon from the Missouri Nat’l Guard. I tell you they were the best damn soldiers I worked with there. I figgered my Guard readers won&apos;t mind reading that, either... So here&apos;s Oldloadrs pic of a Combat Engineer of the Missouri National Guard...</summary>
