It's not always the case in the Army that your immediate superior is someone who is willing to actually listen to what you have to say and take heed of it, but LTC Finken was one of those officers. All of us will miss him and the Army is a lesser place without
him. It's just a damn shame that he died within a couple days of him leaving Iraq. On a lighter note, I have always enjoyed perusing your blog (when I have the time) and certainly appreciate the humor and insights. Keep up the good work.
