<description>This post will remain on top through the day. A member of my son&apos;s 2003 graduating class at Leavenworth High School was killed this week in Iraq. While the death of any soldier is painful, this one hit much closer to home. My son is with the 4th Inf out of Ft. Hood. He&apos;s with the 4th Support Battalion at Camp Taji. My prayers are with the family of this young man.

Young Unger, God rest his soul, was supposed to have been home 21 August, but according to his wife on TV, his tour was extended. She said he was extended to complete the mission.

We will all die someday. It matters not so much how we die, as how we lived.

This young man lived with courage, pride, and a sense of humor that supported all around him.

Well done, good and faithful servent. Enter into the kingdom of heaven.

                dammit.

I hate to hear about this, John. It sounds like he was serving his country with pride and courage though, and will be welcomed at Fiddler&apos;s Green.
