Ohhhhh, that feels soooo gooood, Sergeant Major! LOL

Poking fun at Gurkhas? Surely there are safer ... "I bless you, my son. Remember that cutting thoats and chopping limbs are vocations, not diversions." Cheers

"Cripes lad! Did ye run out of wax?"

Good Lord soldier! What have you been doing with that thing???

Four demerits. Unshined head.

Like this, men. The wax goes on in tiny circles, and buff it to a glorious sheen. When the order is give to remove hats, the enemy will be completely blinded!

Hmmm ... Quote: With the Taliban closer than 50 yards, Rifleman Nabin Rai, 20, manning a heavy machinegun on the roof, had several rounds ricochet off his weapon before a bullet went through the gunsight and hit him in the face. "His commander called for him to be medi-vacced out, but he refused to come down from the roof," said Major Rex. "Later he was again hit, this time in the helmet. He sat down and had a cigarette, then went back to his position." The Telegraph, 05 Oct 06 Cheers

Does this constitute a head job?

Wax on...wax off...wax on...wax off...you've seen "Karate Kid"...you know how to do this soldier!

"Democratic National Committee posts new photo on it's website honoring U.S. Troops..." (nod to M. Malkin)

Yeah, them Ghurkas are nasty and tough. One more for the history books proving the point don't you think Cpt H?

Ry From "Bugles and a Tiger": ... one of the soldiers (Gurkha) was loading a mule; the mule decided to be objectionable, and kicked the soldier in the head. Later that day, the soldier complained of a headache; in the meantime, the mule had gone lame. Cheers

There, there! Did widdle Private Snuggums bweak into a sweat standing formation in the hot autumn sun? Get yer pack, Private! Yer marching Nun Kun tonight!

And after I polish your head, you will receive the Hat Of The Pink Cockaded Dragoon. This will complete your initiation. "As the stubble monitor, I am using Nair to help you reduce that wild growth."

I dare you to keep your bearing. I SEE that smile!

Bless you my son, for yours is the only hat in the Company with no dents in it! Oh, Ry, I don't know about the "nasty". The Ghurkas have always been reported as cheerfull killers. The original and gen-you-wine Happy Warriors, Accept No Substitutes. P.S. He may actually be blessing him, or something. I think the color of the head-wipe might be significant. P.P.S. I cut myself with a Kukri, once.
