        and mud.  Waiting and mud.  If mud is for some inexplicable reason not available, it will be trucked in.  Grunts always complained about having to fight in the mud, even if the day had started clear and sunny.  Then they discovered that the particulates from gunpowder could trigger rain, which information was used to form the basis for cloud seeding technology.  The grunts had been right, mud DID follow them around!

        Nice images there old and new. I&apos;ve recently realised  soldiering involves an awful lot of waiting.
