Bad, bad terrorists! Sit! Stay!

During their recent deployment to Iraq, the soldiers of the 34th Infantry "Red Bull" Division of the National Guard ran into a particularly heinous form of booby trap - one that preys on the victims of General Order #1, which prohibits alcohol to deployed soldiers....

New jihadi boobytrap. Bastards.

As long as the soldiers are doing this... morale is okay. You can click here for a larger version.

[And if you're the soldiers who put this together - I'd love to hear the story - whether or not ya wanna share it publicly, which is your call. In fact - I'd love to collect more stuff like this - an aspect of the war that is under-reported!]

It improved my morale. Except for the coffee I have to clean off the keyboard.

so they can make a better mousetrap, but they still won't pick up their socks!

That is so wrong. Gotta be a Geneva violation here somewhere. I've linked to you here: http://consul-at-arms.blogspot.com/2006/08/re-bad-bad-terrorists-sit-stay-latest.html

Yeah - what Beth and Cassandra said! lol They still think farts are funny too .... I'm going to link this later after I get some sleep. But it's so hilarious. I emailed the link to my Soldier son. He'll get a kick out of it.

That thing looks like it might actually work.

That's great. My son, a Marine, say that he doesn't mind getting shot at or even having RPGs fired in his general direction but what he really hates is the giant rats that charge after him when he's out on patrol. We've sent him some rat traps but apparently the rats run off trap and all. He needs to hook up with these guys.

LOL - Link sent to the Marine!Goth. I wouldn't want him to get 'snapped' during the upcoming deployment! Snerk
