                harumph.... *my* grass is full of yellow jackets right now... no matter how &quot;green&quot; the grass is, the bees still sting.  HARD.

(no kidding- I really did get stung by at least a gajillion yellow jackets this weekend.  OK... 8 or 9.  But DAMN it HURT!  I still have holes in my ankles and calves!)

                That&apos;s true!

Someone did a research project on it.  When you look straight down at &apos;your&apos; grass you see it &apos;end on&apos; and generally see through it to the ground below.  When you look at &apos;their&apos; grass you see it from the side and get the full effect of the &apos;greenness&apos;.
